A Study on the Recommendation Intentions, Achievement of Expected Treatment Results and Satisfaction by Inpatient Medical Service Experiences

Abstract

|
Objectives: This study¡¯s purpose was to identify the factors affecting recommendation intentions, achievement of the expected treatment results, and satisfaction of the patients who had experienced inpatient medical services.
Methods: The data of 996 participants were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, regression using a medical service experience survey(2018-2019).
Results: As regards the patient safety experiences, the higher their education levels, their health insurance and absence of chronic diseases showed a significant positive experience. Their recommendation intentions and satisfaction with medical services had a positive effect on their satisfaction with the services of doctors and nurses, and their use of medical institutions increased. The achievement of the expected treatment results had a positive effect as the subjective health status, satisfaction with doctors services and use of medical institutions were higher.
Conclusions: To improve recommendation intentions, achievement of the expected treatment results and patient satisfaction levels, various measures should be taken to improve the services of doctors, nurses, medical institutions.
